a ping is sort of like a telephone number, so in a way, this is where your character can contact people. however, it also functions as an email. (for more information, visit the 'extra extra!' thread in the rules and regulations) so this is where you can ping all your buddies! (suggested templates: phone book templates or email templates)

everyone get a channel number when they become an ugly. this is so that they can kick stories, write or talk about trends, show videos, anything to the attention of the population to boost their rank. their channel is displayed through the smart wall and their videos can be taken through a hovercam. so this is the place to put up your videos and kick your stories! (youtube videos are allowed)

so nana love is the only person since the rep system was created that has remained number one-without being defeated ever. why? she has all the best stories, the best gossip, and the best trends. so why not make her number one? she's the person who makes you or breaks you. she also hosts the thousand faces party, which only the first thousand people are invited to so obviously, everyone wants to get in to the hottest party of the year! here she'll post gossip on people she finds interesting along with updates in the side bar giving clues as to where the hot spots will be!

this is where the uglies live. there are tons of dorm houses, where the leaders of the dorms are either middlies or uglies who are on the cusp of turning sixteen and having their surgery. in these dorms, they are co-ed though with sleeping it is two girls to one dorm and the one next door would be two boys. the dorms have smart walls but it is only to provide the necessities. it would provide an alarm clock, help with homework, and even let you chat online and give you clothes as well as recycle it, but it will not produce clothing that goes against the dress code: nothing unless it is the uniform...

everyone needs an education. here in the new world of technology, the educational system only lasts from the time people are littlies until the age of fifteen where, after turning fifteen the older uglies either go on become part of the dorm leaders committee or they simply hang around until they get their pretty surgery when they are sixteen. regardless, in the educational center, you stay with the same class you started out with as a littlie. so if you hate that bitch in english....tough sugar cookies.

this river is what divides uglyville from the beautiful new pretty town island in the center of the entire city. most of the bridges across have security which is hard to get by so the best way to get across the wide river would be to use a hoverboard or hovercar but you have to be sneaky, since there are always patrols running laps all over the place. it is called paradise river because uglies claim it leads to paradise: new pretty town. it also is a very beautiful deep blue that, at night, reflects the colors of the fireworks going off in the town.

because the uglies do not get to actually view ranks through their hovercams or through their smartwalls because their smart walls aren't as sophisticated as those in new pretty town, in order to play those games where they get to see how they would look as pretties, view rankings, and read up on gossip as well as kick some stories up on their channel, they have to go to the rep center, short for the reputation center. here it is like the rustie's version of an arcade, only the place is full of smart walls and wandering hovercams.

the mansions are where all the pretty people live over the age of sixteen unless they are uglies who are popular-which will obviously never and will never happen. most mansions house about twenty to one hundred pretties, the mansions also having over five hundred rooms. all rooms have smart walls that give them clothing, food, water, the works. but then there are the very very popular pretties who are very high on the rep system who have mansions all to themselves that even have an invisible skin of technology that keeps paparazzi hovercams from getting to close. talk about amazing.

party towers are probably not as big as the mansions in width but in height, they tower over them and into the sky. in party towers, it is fairly obvious what goes on in them. people do not like to trash their mansions, so why not trash a party tower? these places are built for partying, but are actually owned by specific cliques and the parties are usually invitation only, whether the invitation is showing that you received a certain ping from a member to wearing the most bubbly-making outfit on the face of the planet. this is where the parties, and the drama, goes down...

need some calorie-purgers? need a new surgery to make you look bubbly for that party next week? here is basically the hub of the town. pretties come in and out all the time, whether it is simply going in to get a new eye color which takes about twenty minutes, to getting new skin which takes about two hours and leaves you in your bed for about two days. this is where uglies come on their sixteenth birthday and get their pretty surgery and all in all, this is basically where any medical necessity can be taken care of.

everyone likes the park. everyone likes taking a sweet stroll and enjoying the fresh air day or night. that is exactly what the pleasure gardens are: parks scattered through-out new pretty town, minus the jungle gym and swing sets. the gardens are full of vegeation, lots of trees and bushes, and of course benches. here, it would not be a surprise to find a pretty-couple making out behind a tree...they call it pleasure gardens for a reason: its easy to hide.

this place is off limits to anyone who isn't a special. it is beyond difficult to get in, since the only thing visible is basically one floor and then the roof. the building, instead of being high like the party towers and mansions, was actually built completely underground so it is close to invisible to any air craft since the roof matches the vegetation. there is a total of fifty floors, going deep down into the earth and the entire place is loaded with security. this is where the specials had their surgeries to become what they are now. this is also where they live and had their training. messing with this place means messing with their home and they usually do not let people live it down.

the first thing everyone knows about the smoke is that it is very very difficult to find. you can not just stumble upon it. you must know the route to get there or you will get lost in the wilderness. there are recruiters hidden in certain spots called 'drop off/ pick up points'. those are the places you would meet them. the smoke is basically full of people who either are seeking freedom, want to abandon their way of live for a new one under a better government, or were born and raised there, which there aren't that many....

the hover tracks are restricted but it is where the sly girls have their fun. they lead out of the city from a tunnel underneath them and a few miles out they come out of the ground and run on the land to an unknown destination. if anyone knows the sly girls clique, they claims they have ridden the whole thing and that it leads to other cities for trade on electronics or when electronics need repairs and such. surprisingly, it is conspiciously one of the drop off spots for the smokies leaving to find more recruits in other cities.

there is a reason this city is known as the ghost city. not too far from uglyville and new pretty town is ghost city, but it is completely hidden in vegetation. it was once a prestigious rustie city from the west coast of the united states before it was abandoned. the city obviously fell apart, nothing but the metal outlines of the tall buildings left, chucks of concrete all over the place. it is one of the many abandoned pick up stations since the infamous and notorious war between the smokies and special circumstances.

the wilderness hold the unknown and most city-folk are terrified to venture in its mystery. the wilderness is harsh, the climates changing dramatically since, though the smoke isn't that far by hover car, on foot, however, it takes just about a week to get there, if you do not stop along the way and know exactly where you are going. here there are forests, grassland, and so much more. the upside is that this is where one of the pick up spots are for recruiters wanting to find more people for the smoke. all you have to do is see the red dot flashing in one of the caves and you'll know for sure someone is waiting to take you to your new home. but the location is hard to find...there have even been people who have died trying to find it.

no one likes trash right? it's smelly, it's icky, and only glen coco knows what that mold growing on the bread is... anyways, this is where all closed and blah blah you kow the drill. unwanted threads are placed here to make the place look spiffy and clean! want it back? pm me dude!
